Special meeting September 1st

There will be a (hopefully) brief meeting of the Woodway City Council at 7:45 am on Wednesday, September 1st. This is required to formalize adoption of the 2010-11 annual budget and the 2010 ad valorem tax rate. As I recall, the tax rate is remaining unchanged, though any increases in the assessed valuation of your home will result in higher taxes. Also, some fees are increasing and there is an approximately 10% increase in the water rates. These take effect as of October 1st, the beginning of the new fiscal year.
